F-Zero Maximum Velocity, the Game Boy Advance installment of Nintendo’s futuristic racer series, will be made available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers this Friday (29th March 2024).
F-Zero Maximum Velocity was originally released as a launch title for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001, and it was the first F-Zero title to be released for a handheld console.
With this reissue and last year’s F-Zero 99 battle royale title launching on Switch, Nintendo are clearly aware of the popularity of F-Zero, so how about a proper new installment in the series next year to launch with the successor to the Switch? You know you want to, Nintendo! With the exception of F-Zero 99, it’s been over 20 years since we saw a new F-Zero title! Surely it’s time?!
