Super Mario Bros Movie Lush graphic

No, Game Boy fan Miki Berenyi hasn’t reformed her band Lush to record a track for the Super Mario Bros Movie, but there’s a Lush Super Mario Bros Movie team-up from the popular purveyors of smellies o the same name.
Whatever happened to a Happy Meal toy being the de facto movie tie-in merch?

Lush’s range of limited edition Super Mario Bros Movie products include: Gold Coin soap (but it doesn’t seem that collecting 100 will give you an extra life, sadly). Princess Peach body spray, which has a pineapple and (inevitably) peach scent, Princess Peach shower jelly, a Question Block bath bomb, Mario shower gel (apparently he smells like cola), Luigi shower gel (apparently he smells like apple), Bowser shower jelly (which is, appropriately, warm and spicy), and a Question Block gift box. Users of the Lush mobile app also have the chance to collect Super Mario Bros Movie power-ups to unlock a secret product.

Sadly, there’s no bath bob-omb, which seems like a missed opportunity.

I've been playing video games since the 1980s, from the 8-bit era onwards. I have had to play one-handed following a stroke in 2014, and I blog about playing games with one hand.
