German Garage Games, a father and son team, has developed a brand new game on the NES, and are currently funding a campaign on Kickstarter to release it. Christmas Crisis is a brand-new platform game using assets from a previously unreleased game – Santa’s Magical Christmas Sleigh.
The game features:
• Four levels of intense and difficult 8-bit platforming action
• Diverse fully scrolling environments with hidden areas
• Three boss battles and cut-scene poems
Digital ROMs are priced at £9, physical cartridges at £35, or both including a collectors box are £48. The team promises that every backer will have the game in their hands by Christmas, but there are only a few days to secure a copy. You can back the campaign here.
Weirdly, I saw this on KS before seing this article and duly pledged. I fancied playing a new retro XMAS game this year and hopefully they will deliver.
