The third installment of the Oliver Twins’ eggcellent platform puzzler series now has a new leash of life, in the form of the Fantasy World Dizzy Extended Edition, made available via the Dizzy Fansite.

The Fantasy World Dizzy Extended Edition is available as a download for the ZX Spectrum, with the original game “extended” by programmer Andre Titou (also known as Dr Titus).

Dr Titus has fixed several issues from the game’s original release, as well as making a few additions.

If you’d like to give the Fantasy World Dizzy Extended Edition a “crack”, there’s no need to “shell” out, it’s available as a free download from yolkfolk.com, where you’ll also find a list of the changes made to the original game.

Does the Fantasy World Dizzy Extended Edition have your head spinnin’ , or do you prefer to stick with the original, official versions of games, bugs and all?
