The much anticipated Postal on Dreamcast is here and it plays well. Developer Chinchilla Retro has ported this over from the original PC source code and it plays every bit as good. The graphics are sharp and the sound punchy. There are no bugs to speak of and the only downside is some long load times between levels. Overall Postal performs excellently on Dreamcast.
Most of the original modes have made it over including challenges and difficulties. The big news is that a four-player couch co-op has been added. It’s seriously fun and a bit of a giggle murdering innocents with a friend. Another great feature is full twin stick support either by the official Dreamcast Twin Stick or via a Brook Wingman SD to use a modern controller.
