Retro publisher Mega Cat Studio has started to become quite prolific in releasing new games for old consoles. Another game, this time a Mega Drive title called Rocket Panda, has gone up for crowdfunding and is well on its way to hitting its target. There is a barrage of options to pre-order including digital, physical and deluxe versions.
The crowdfunding page describes Rocket Panda’s story as the “evil Biscuit Head has invaded Biscuit Land, home of not just Rocket Panda but his small furry band of Badgers as well. The Badgers have been kidnapped and a menagerie of enemies have taken over the land and it’s up to Rocket Panda to deftly fly to the rescue!”
- Blast through hordes of enemies commanded by the evil Biscuit Head, such as Flying Pigs, Mines, Toasters, Tanks, UFOs, and other dangerous creatures!
- Collect all of the biscuits for the highest score and drink tea to power up your dash move!
- Challenge and defeat 7 Bosses in the game, including a giant Teacup, Dragon, Mega Toast, and Cheese Ball.
