Sonic mega fan SegaSonicSaturn has announced their next project that will see the Saturn port of Sonic 3D Flickies’ Island remade with high definition graphics and a re-recorded soundtrack. The development is still in the early stages but a YouTube video shows that voice acting has been added to the opening cut scene as well as an example of how the new graphics will look.
SegaSonicSaturn has also put a tweet out asking for other fans of Sonic to get involved. The tweet states that they “are are looking for some talented people to join our project, a Sonic 3D Flickies’ Island Remake. A 3D Character Modeler and a 3D Character Animator.” This project looks exciting and we will bring you more news on its development as it unfolds.
