Following on the success of the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, SEGA has announced the next two film adaptations – Space Channel 5 and Comix Zone.
Space Channel 5 was originally released on the Dreamcast as a music/dance game and developed quite a cult following. Comix Zone meanwhile was a unique beat-em-up that was based inside comic book panels, animated with speech bubbles, and was released on the Genesis.
Two unusual games to be developed into movies – it will be interesting to see how these develop.
