Steel Empire, known as Empire of Steel outside of Japan, was a 1992 shooter released on the Mega Drive. It had an update that was released on Steam in 2018 and we reported that a new version was being released for Switch and PlayStation earlier this year.
We now have all the details and know that the new physical release from ININ Games is due for release in January next year with pre-orders open now. There is a variety of different editions spread across the Switch and PlayStation with improved graphics over the PC remake. This will also be available digitally.
