Sega legend Yuzo Koshiro has announced on his Twitter account a new Mega Drive shooter that is currently in development. He has confirmed he has been producing the music for it and may be involved as a designer as well. In the tweet that contained the unveiling, Koshiro also mentions that it will be a bullet hell shooter.
He shows two screens snapped of the game running on a CRT and although further information hasn’t been revealed, with Yuzo Koshiro at the wheel this will probably be a very successful indie title for the Mega Drive. His well known for the Streets of Rage soundtrack and if this game has anything close to those synth anthems this will be a winner.
