Earlier this month, the Radical Computers Company released a fun-looking new ZX Spectrum game titled Ganimedes. The game was developed by Nextric and is for 128K Spectrums.

Ganimedes is a space-based platformer in which you play an experimental robot who must recover abandoned storage cells to restore energy to his base. Gaimedes sounds like a lot of fun and can be downloaded now on a “name your price” basis. The download includes Ganimedes in both .tap and .dsk formats.

If you love the ZX Spectrum as much as we do, be sure to check out our sister publication, Crash magazine.

Do you, like uis, still play the occasional new ZX Spectrum game? If so, why not recommend a couple of your favourites in the comments?

I've been playing video games since the 1980s, from the 8-bit era onwards. I have had to play one-handed following a stroke in 2014, and I blog about playing games with one hand.
