and now, nearly 40 years later, Sir Fred is getting a sequel in the form of ‘Old Fred’.

Old Fred has been coded by the Spanish developers Gamesoft, the team who have previously coded the games Turbo Girl (Dinamic, 1988); Comando Quatro (Zigurat, 1989)
and Senda Salvaje (Zigurat, 1990).

We offer our thanks to Spectrum Computing, where we first learned the news of the Sir Fred sequel.

I've been playing video games since the 1980s, from the 8-bit era onwards. I have had to play one-handed following a stroke in 2014, and I blog about playing games with one hand.
