It might not be known to many gamers outside of Japan but Rumble Fish, a one-on-one fighting series from developer Dimps, is held in high regard in the fighting community. It was first release in arcades back in 2004 and now both games are heading to consoles this winter. Both Rumble Fish and Rumble Fish 2 are still played at tournaments around the world and it’s known for its excellent 2D pixel art and intuitive gameplay features.

The collection will be published by 3goo and Dimps CEO said “The Rumble Fish is a memorable title for Dimps. By the standards of today’s fighting games but nearly 20 years ago I’m proud to say that it’s an ambitious title that makes full use of various image expression ideas. We hope that 3goo will once again put the spotlight on us and that the new possibilities of this “The Rumble Fish” series will expand again. “
