Switch Player 70 cover

Last year, we brought you the sad news that Switch Player Magazine was to end with issue 69 (dude!)

The gang at the mag’s publisher, Ninty Media, have hardly been idle since the mag’s closure, producing impressive high-end tomes such as the GameBook Color, on which we recently reported.

And their latest project is great news for those of us who miss Switch Player Magazine! Yes, as you may have ascertained from the headline, Switch Player Magazine is back! Back! BACK!

With there no longer being any dedicated Nintendo mags in newsagents, Switch Player Magazine really does serve a vital role in the games media landscape, so it’s well worth supporting.

Switch Player is picking up where it left off, with issue 70. The issue will run to 40 pages and its main focus will be on Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, along with coverage of Nintendo Direct, discussion on the state of the industry and a look at new Lego sets on the way, as well as more games including Paper Trail and Animal Well.

This issue (and all future issues) will have limited print runs, with only enough copies being printed to fulfil pre-orders.

So, to make sure you don’t miss out, pre-order your copy of Switch Player Magazine issue 70 here today.

I've been playing video games since the 1980s, from the 8-bit era onwards. I have had to play one-handed following a stroke in 2014, and I blog about playing games with one hand.
