We love our side-scrolling beat ‘em us here at Fusion R Gamer, and the Double Dragon series of games have certainly been among the best the genre has to offer, ever since the first game in the series hit arcades back in 1987.
We previously reported on the announcement of Double Dragon Gaiden: Eise of the Dragons, which we went on to review favourably in Fusion magazine issue 48.
In our review, we expressed hope that the game wouldn’t be the last we’d see of the Lee brothers and their mob, and now our hopes have come to fruition!
Once again, Double Dragon is back, back! BACK! This time in 3D courtesy of Guilty Gear developer and publisher Arc System Works.
The next installment in the beat ‘em up series, Double Dragon Revive, is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One &Series X|S in 2025, and can be wishlisted on Steam and the PS Store now.
